Questions about a policy? Contact Plain Sight before registering or paying. Policies specific to a particular class, facility, or transaction will be provided with the applicable class information.

- Email address, telephone number, and emergency-contact information when provided for registration
- Course selection, experience level, training goals, equipment concerns, accommodations, attendance, scores, completion status, and certificate information
- Payment and transaction status; card details are handled by Stripe-hosted Checkout rather than stored directly by Plain Sight

- Basic website and campaign information collected through Google Analytics
How information is used and shared
Information is used for course administration, student communication, safety planning, payment processing, fraud/spam prevention, recordkeeping, and legal or accounting needs. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the site, including Netlify, Stripe, the configured email provider, and Google Analytics. Plain Sight does not sell student information.
Student registration information is not displayed publicly. Exact class-location details may be shared with registered students as needed for the class.
2. Registration Terms
- Submitting an inquiry or registration form does not by itself guarantee a seat. A seat is confirmed only through the applicable registration and payment process.
- Students must provide accurate contact information and promptly notify Plain Sight if that information changes.
- Students must follow instructor, facility, range, and firearm-safety instructions. Unsafe conduct may result in removal from training without completion.
- Students are responsible for reviewing class-specific dates, locations, equipment, ammunition, arrival, and safety instructions before attending.
- Course completion does not guarantee Colorado permit eligibility, permit issuance, or any particular legal result.
- Course and legal information is educational and is not individualized legal advice. Firearm laws and permit requirements can change.
For questions about which course or track is appropriate, contact Plain Sight before registering.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund terms can depend on the specific class, payment status, facility requirements, and timing of the request. The applicable class information or registration communication controls if it contains terms specific to that class.
To request a cancellation, transfer, or refund, contact Plain Sight as soon as possible at info@trainplainsight.com or 720-671-6854. Include the student name, class, and email used for registration.
If Plain Sight cancels or reschedules a class, registered students will be contacted with the available options for that situation. No refund or cancellation deadline should be assumed unless it is stated in the class-specific terms or confirmed directly by Plain Sight.
4. Testimonial Publication Policy
Testimonials are submitted voluntarily and are reviewed before publication. A testimonial is not displayed publicly unless the submitter gives permission to publish it.
- Submissions enter a private moderation queue.
- Plain Sight may approve, reject, edit for formatting or privacy, unpublish, or delete a submission.
- Contact information is used for verification or follow-up and is not displayed as part of the public testimonial.
- A submitter may request correction, withdrawal, or removal by contacting info@trainplainsight.com.
- Do not include sensitive personal information, private student details, or information about another person in a testimonial.
Submit a testimonial through the testimonials page.
5. Payment-Processing Disclosure
Paid classes use Stripe-hosted Checkout. Plain Sight does not receive or store the full card number through the website registration form. Stripe processes the payment according to Stripe’s terms and privacy practices.
The Plain Sight registration system receives transaction and payment-status information needed to confirm a seat, manage capacity, send registration communications, and maintain accounting or training records. A pending payment may temporarily hold a seat until the payment window expires.
Questions about a payment, failed checkout, duplicate charge, or refund request should be directed to Plain Sight at info@trainplainsight.com. Do not email full card numbers or security codes.
6. Data Retention and Deletion Contact
Plain Sight retains information only for as long as reasonably needed for registration administration, student communication, safety, training records, payment/accounting, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. The appropriate retention period can differ by record type, and this page does not promise a single fixed deletion date for every record.
To ask about the information associated with your registration, request correction, or request deletion where deletion is legally and operationally possible, contact:
Some information may need to be retained when required for accounting, payment disputes, safety documentation, legal compliance, or legitimate recordkeeping.
